The name Whitehouse Station takes its name from the original White House and Abraham Vanhorn‘s 18th century Tavern. The city used to be home to a railroad junction which kick started the boom of this city. The decline of the city started when the endpoint of the railway ceased operation in the early 1900s. The city can be found on the eastern part of Hunterdon County New Jersey but on the western side of the state itself. The city is known for producing film pioneers as actresses, actors and filmmakers were born and raised here.
