We had a electrical fire in our kitchen and it caused lots of smoke and odor damage. A very good friend of mine recommended PDQ Restoration. Tim and Elizabeth came out that afternoon and were extremely professional and detailed on showing me how far the soot had traveled and explaining the restoration process. They installed machines that night to help eliminate the odor and clean the air. The next day they had 9 people cleaning everything! They spoke to our adjuster and handled everything. Both the adjuster and I were very happy with how they performed the difficult job. Their communication throughout this process was exceptional. I highly recommend them.

Although I've never even met Tim, I'm certain from our delightful conversation today that he is competent, and I know he's knowledgeable, and cares more for the people who contact him then he does about profits. He spent at least 1/2 hour talking to me about how to handle my situation on many levels ,with sound advice and great encouragement and support. You see, I am a 78 yr old senior, but it didn't seem to stop him (lol) in his effort to help. I would hire him sight unseen, w/o even an estimate visit. He's positive and confident and not afraid to give a reference when needed. You see, he's in New Jersey (my hone state) and I am in Ohio w family. Thanks Tim...I could say so much more....

We experienced a fire early morning on a Sunday, and during a COVID-19 Pandemic. We called our insurance company and PDQ the same day and without hesitation Elizabeth and Tim showed up at our house immediately to provide a free estimate and workable solutions to all the problems created by the fire! PDQ was amazing. Noticed water in my garage ceiling, and a neighbor recommended PDQ. I gave them a call and they were at my house in no time. Found the issue (leaking water valve in refrigerator) and began the drying and cleanup process. They were quick, and John (the technician) was helpful and explained everything. They made a bad situation much easier and manageable.

In May 2019, we had moisture damage in our walls caused by window Air Conditioners in old windows. The primary concern was the black fuzzy growth on the porch ceiling that appeared to likely be mold. Concern; especially, because two family members were less than two weeks from having major surgeries with lengthy in-home recoveries. Tim and Elizabeth came out immediately to evaluate. Tim doubted it was mold, but we needed definite confirmation. He helped with a recommendation of a third-party tester. Thankfully, Tim's visual assessment was correct. Before the results, we had the reassurance from PDQ that if needed, they were there and ready to work to make our home ready in time for the convalescing patients. Their willingness to provide prompt and speedy professional attention to our problem, as well as their honesty and concern and human decency make it apparent; they are who I want working in my home if needed. Elizabeth, Chis and the team are the best!! Elizabeth came immediately after we called her on a weekend and walked us through all the options. So I came home and my basement was soaked!! Everything soaked. We called PDQ AND John and his crew were there in less than 2hrs! So prompt. They were very nice, explained everything and were sympathetic. But man they were quite efficient, clean and quick setting up, getting all that water out fo there and starting the drying out. They were so knowledgeable about the insurance process and I instantly trusted them and John especially. They were always responsive to any and all questions no matter when we’d call. There is NO QUESTION that PDQ is the best of the best when it comes to remediation. They were on site almost immediately after the fire in our townhouse in 2017, and they did an absolutely incredible job. The cleanup was thorough, and Tim and Elizabeth were so understanding and supportive after such a traumatic experience. Recently, we discovered that during the remediation, they made a slight error, and they sent another tech - Chris - to fix it. He was incredibly responsive, and happy to answer any and all questions regarding the fix. He was meticulous in my house - laid down a runner so as to not dirty my floor with his work boots, and vacuumed up everything afterwards. The job was done perfectly - soup to nuts. PDQ is truly 10 out of 10 - their work, and all their techs - would recommend them heartily to anybody!

Elizabeth was terrific! We had a flood in our finished basement and she arrived in les then an hour. After the initial moisture inspection she sat down with me and explained the entire process. We decided to go through insurance and she even helped put in the claim. They were extremely fast and professional. I highly recommend PDQ for any water damage.

we Had a flooded basement. PDQ was there in a few hrs. Did everything from empty the basement, pulled out affected Sheetrock and carpet, set fans and blowers to dry it up, and even dealt with insurance company. John the technician was beyond outstanding! Due to the unfortunate circumstance of a broken pipe flooding our whole downstairs, I got the pleasure to be introduced to Tim and Elizabeth, owners of PDQ. Tim and Elizabeth at PDQ were absolutely amazing in every way during such an unfortunate time for my family and I after we experienced a fire in our home. I was so panicked when I came home from vacation and realized a pipe had burst, wetting our entire basement. The carpets were a mess and all my stuff was wet. Our water softener broke in our finished basement and my neighbor recommended PDQ to come out to dry it out. I had no clue the amount of detail that is needed to do it correctly so you will not get mold. Elizabeth and her team were fantastic. The adjuster said they id a great job as well. Finally have a chance to write a review on PDQ after not having power for a week. We had a small fire in the kitchen 2 weeks ago and Elizabeth and her crew were over the top in their detail. We had soot on everything on the first floor and even in the closets and dressers. Her knowledge is unbelievable about smoke damage.

If I could leave more than 5 Stars I would! I had a pipe leak in my basement overnight and woke up to a flooded basement. Called the plumber and had the pipe fixed and then called PDQ Restoration about having them come out and clean up the water. They were there literally 20 minutes after I called and got right to work. PDQ Restoration is run how a business should be. They are punctual, neat, friendly, reasonable, and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you are completely satisfied. This is tough to find in this day and age in my opinion. Some businesses are out to make money and get it done as fast as possible without caring about customer satisfaction. PDQ stayed around as long as it took to make sure all of the water and moisture was 100% gone and made sure we were 100% happy. My experience with them could not have been better. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! Thanks again guys!

PDQ made the unfortunate puff back event (boiler malfunction that causes soot to go EVERYWHERE!) much more bearable! From the start, they knew their stuff and what seemed like an overwhelming project went so smoothly. My home looks amazing!!! It is back to the healthy, beautiful home that I love! I had a garage fire that was awful. PDQ came to my house right after it happened and I am very glad they did. The situation was bad, but these guys knew what they were doing. I had a lot of smoke in the house that stunk. I don't know how, but they cleaned up my house and more importantly got rid of that stink! Hats off to Rob, John and Tim. A flooded basement is a traumatic event for anyone, but when I discovered mine was flooded thanks to a broken air conditioner, PDQ Restoration saved the day!
