Tim has 3 great children and his best buddy, a chocolate Lab named Laurel. His two boys are in college and his daughter is in high school. Laurel accompanies Tim to work every day and the office loves her. Tim’s special place is approximately 30 miles off the coast of Long Island, fishing "The Canyons."

PDQ documented the surface and made sure the furnace was fixed first. After they began documenting and cleaning effected contents. Next they brought in a professional cleaning team that cleaned the whole entire house using disinfectant along with scrubbing parts that were more badly damaged. Hydroxyls were placed on each floor to eliminate the sooty odor that was left behind. The house was brought back to its original condition.

PDQ extracted all water and performed several flood cuts. Then fans and dehumidifiers were placed throughout the home in order to bring the moisture levels down. We sterilized everything that came in contact with the sewage water. All affected contents were either cleaned in place or boxed and recorded.

Our Project Managers arrived at the home in Landing, New Jersey within 90 minutes of receiving the call. They assessed the damages along with the Homeowners and discussed the plan of action. Our team immediately removed any unaffected items and relocated them to a clean/dry area of the basement. They then sealed off the affected area and bagged/removed all affected materials. Our IICRC-certified technicians started cleaning up the sewage and setting up high-velocity air movers, commercial dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers and hydroxyls to begin drying and cleaning the home. The PDQ team then replaced all air filters in the HVAC systems and scheduled HVAC air duct cleaning and sanitation for sewage and odor. The Homeowners were extremely grateful for the urgency and service that PDQ Restoration was able to provide and that we were able to deal with their insurance provider, All State, directly.

We worked with her insurance company, All State on making sure the claim was closed out.
