Why did the customer contact us?

Olga called PDQ Restoration to come to her home / office in Short Hills, NJ after flooding from rainfall. The flooding resulted in water and mud pouring into the office area throughout the first floor and spread to the basement. All contents including the furniture were wet to the touch. There was a layer of mud that was holding in moisture. The walls were wet as well for the entire first floor and the basement. Olga called PDQ Restoration to help dry out and clean the affected flooded area.

Solutions provided:

When PDQ Restoration arrived at the house in Short Hills, NJ the first thing to do was to stabilize the property. This involved placing fans, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air filters to begin the drying process. Afterwards the contents division came to remove and clean all affected contents for storage. Afterwards all affected structure was removed and then coated with medi clean to prevent any future mold growth. PDQ then came daily to monitor the moisture levels to make sure all wet areas were completely dry.
