Why did the customer contact us?

Lance called PDQ Restoration to come to his house in Chatham, NJ after his shower leaked into the floors below. It resulted in a visible drip from the ceiling and pooled up on the floor below. This resulted in the house feeling humid and the walls / floors being wet to the touch. Lance called PDQ to remove the wet walls and remove the moisture from the air. He also wanted all wood and sheetrock treated for mold growth as well.

Solutions provided:

After PDQ arrived at the house in Chatham, NJ the first step was to place stabilization equipment. This included dehumidifers, fans, and HEPA air scrubbers. After this was done containment was set up around the wet and affected area. The demo team was then able to come in and remove all wet and affected structure and then treat with Medi clean. Afterwards the dehumidifers and fans were placed in the clean drying chamber. PDQ then checked on this daily until the moisture levels returned to the dry standard.
