Henry called PDQ Restoration out to him Madison, NJ. He had a plumbing leak in the hallway next to his kitchen. It was a small leak however Henry reported a smell of mold and when he went to investigate the ceiling felt wet to the touch. He then opened up the wall a tiny bit to reveal visible mold and a very humid wall cavity. Henry asked PDQ to remove the affected walls and treat the mold as well.

When PDQ first arrived at the house in Madison, NJ the first step was to place stabilization equipment and begin demolition. Dehumidifiers and fans with HEPA air filters placed in the living room and kitchen. The affected walls were then removed and the wall cavity and mold was scraped and sanitized. Fans were then set up facing inside the ceiling a drying chamber of plastic was made to speed up the drying process. PDQ then came each day to moisture monitor until everything was confirmed dry.
