Nick from Pompton Plains, NJ called PDQ Restoration when a leak in his hot water tank hookup started and flooded his basement. This resulted in damp sheetrock / walls in the source room and a very humid basement. Nick wanted to save his belongings and asked PDQ to send a truck to Pompton Plains as fast as possible. When PDQ arrived at Nick's house in Pompton Plains the first thing to do was to stabilize and place equipment. The pdq team placed fans, dehumidifers, and HEPA air filters right away. Afterwards all of the contents were sanitized and organized for storage by the PDQ contents team. All damaged material such as carpet and sheetrock was finally removed. Lastly PDQ came daily for moisture monitoring until all affected areas were confirmed dry.
