Lily from Pompton Plains called PDQ Restoration to come to her house after a broken water pipe in her slop kitchen in her basement broke. The break resulted in some sewage and water spreading out through her unfinished basement. There was about 4 inches of water that resulted in a damp and humid atmosphere. This resulted in her contents including her furniture to be affected and wet. She called PDQ to come to her home in Pompton Plains for remediation.

When PDQ Restoration arrived at her home in Pompton Plains the first step was to sanitize and extract all water / feces. After all water was extracted all the content team came to remove all belongings from the basement, sanitize them, and organize them for storage. Afterwards PDQ make sure to place fans, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air filters to bring the humidity down to being the drying process. Finally PDQ came to check daily that the basement was drying and then removed the equipment once the dry standard was confirmed to have been met.
