Sonia called PDQ to come out to her home in Parsippany, NJ after her paper shredder caught fire and spread throughout her home. She was concerned due to the fact smoke had spread throughout the entire house including the basement and bed rooms. When she checked the bedrooms she was able to find soot residue. She was concerned about the negative health effects and decided to call PDQ Restoration.

When PDQ arrived at her house in Parsippany, NJ the first step was to stabilize the loss. This involved placing hydroxyl machines, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air filters. These machines were to help remove the smoke odor molecules from the air and help purify. After this was done the contents division came to wipe clean the affected contents for storage. Afterwards all clothing was sent to the laundromat and all surfaces were cleaned of soot.
