Why did the customer contact us?

Milagros contacted PDQ about water damage in his house in Parsippany, NJ. He had a broken water pipe that leaked from the ceiling in his finished basement and damaged the rooms below. This resulted in wet carpet, a wet ceiling, damp air, and damaged contents. Milagros asked for a PDQ truck to come out in order to remediate and clean up the damage. He wanted to dry out the damp basement as soon as possible.

Solutions provided:

When PDQ arrived at the house in Parsippany, NJ stabilization was the first thing that was done. This involved the extraction of water and removal of damp / wet carpet. Then after fans, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers were placed in the basement. A drying chamber was made with containment in order to speed up the drying process. Afterwards the demolition and removal of all wet walls and structure was completed. When this was done PDQ checked the moisture points daily until it was confirmed all was dry.
