Why did the customer contact us?

Elizabeth M. called about fire damage for her home in Fairfield, NJ. She described it as basement fire that resulted in soot covering the basement. The soot and smoke had also expanded to the rest of the house. This resulted in soot webs forming in the living room, kitchen, and multiple bed rooms. Elizabeth asked PDQ to send a truck in order to clean the basement, sanitize the rest of the living area, and clean the soot off of her belongings.

Solutions provided:

PDQ arrived at Elizabeth's house in Fairfield, NJ, and first began the stabilization process. This involved placed HEPA air scrubbers and dehumidifiers throughout the house. Afterwards PDQ began the soot cleaning process using PPE and HEPA vacuums. After all structure was cleaned of soot and smoke the contents division came to clean all contents to prepare for storage.
