George M from Wharton, NJ called PDQ Restoration regarding a kitchen fire. The fire resulted in a burned stove and above microwave including the surrounding cabinets. George first called the Wharton fire department and they put out the initial fire. The smoke had covered the entire kitchen and living room. When George spoke on the phone with PDQ Restoration our technician directed George to run a paper towel on the surfaces throughout the rest of the house. After George found soot residue he asked PDQ to come in.

PDQ arrived at George's house in Wharton and first made sure to document all damages and contents. Afterwards, the team began the remediation process involving air scrubbers with HEPA air filters and sanitization. After all contents were cleaned and clothing was sent to an industrial laundromat. PDQ made sure to return the home to the original condition to before the fire and that all smoke odor was removed.
