Arianna from Madison, NJ called PDQ Restoration after her sump pump failed in her basement from a flood. She was worried about how to dry her carpet and about mold as well. The entire basement was effected and finished as well. The walls had soaked up moisture as well. The entire basement was very humid and she was also worried about her belongings staying damp by continuing to be in the basement.

When PDQ Restoration arrived at the house in Madison, NJ the first thing to do was to extract all of the water in the basement and as much as possible from the wet carpet. Afterwards fans, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air filters were placed directed by a drying plan to begin the drying process. The PDQ contents division then came to clean, sanitize, and prepare for storage. After this was completed all affected walls were removed and PDQ came daily to check on the moisture levels until the dry out was completed.
